About the Role

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Garage Door Salesperson / Service Supervisor to lead our service team while driving sales growth. This dual-role position combines customer-facing sales responsibilities with hands-on supervision of service technicians. The ideal candidate has a strong background in garage door systems, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Generate sales by meeting with residential and commercial customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate garage door products and services
Prepare estimates, proposals, and close sales opportunities
Oversee daily operations of service technicians, including scheduling, dispatching, and job oversight
Provide technical support and guidance to technicians in the field
Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction on all service and installation jobs
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and service escalations professionally
Train, mentor, and evaluate service technicians to improve performance and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of sales, service calls, and team productivity
Monitor inventory, equipment, and job materials to ensure availability and cost control
Enforce safety standards and company policies across all service operations

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in garage door installation, service, or sales
Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management
Strong mechanical aptitude and construction knowledge
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Skills:
Experience with estimating software or CRM systems
Knowledge of a wide range of garage door brands and opener systems
Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Conflict resolution and team-building abilities

Work Environment:
This role involves a mix of office work, field visits, and on-site supervision. The candidate should be comfortable traveling to job sites, occasionally working in outdoor conditions, and inspecting work performed at heights.
